About
Thank you for having a look around.
This page offers an introduction to what I offer, how I work, and what therapy with me is like.
What is therapy?
Therapy is a structured space to explore thoughts, emotions, relationships and patterns of your experience.
It is not about arriving at a fixed version of yourself.
You are not broken.
Therapy helps to find a clearer understanding of what is present and how it has developed over time.
People often come to therapy when they are feeling curious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.
These are all understandable responses to living in a demanding world with constant deadlines, social pressures, information overload and few places that truly invite you to be seen and heard.
When everyday life asks more than we can safely carry, stress, anxiety, low mood and other symptoms can emerge, not as personal failings, but as coherent reactions to real experiences and unmet needs.
It is isolating when there aren’t spaces to speak without judgment.
My approach
My approach is grounded in evidence-based psychological intervention, with an emphasis on relational safety, collaboration, and paced exploration.
I understand psychological distress as something that develops in context. This includes relationships, life experiences, and patterns that may have once been adaptive but are now contributing to difficulty.
In therapy, we focus on making these patterns known so that new ways of responding can become possible.
Together we’ll explore how past events and current demands influence how you think, feel and behave, and we’ll work collaboratively to build practical strategies and compassionate understanding so you can feel steadier and more connected.
Areas of Focus

low mood and depressive states
post-traumatic stress and complex trauma
